Sea Change: By The Wind
On December 31st, 2015 two friends, a little dog and myself set out to sail from Florida to the Amazon River. It took us a little over a year and 9 countries to finally reach our goal. On the way we explored the majestic rivers, dense jungles and remote islands of the Caribbean Sea. Traveling under sail provided the opportunity to connect deeply with the people and places we encountered. We took our time, became part of the landscape instead of just observing it. The idea behind Sea Change was to combine our passions for adventure and filmmaking to create a short video series about the trip. We attempted to blur the line between documentary and narrative, to bring the viewer aboard to experience life at sea as we knew it.
