Toy Boat is me, Andrew Tomayko. I’ve been telling stories with a camera for more than 20 years, sometimes as part of amazing crews, sometimes as a one-man band. Along the way I’ve directed, shot and edited just about every kind of project: commercials, documentaries, music videos and films for brands I love. After a decade in Los Angeles, I traded the city for solitude on the high seas. These days I live aboard my sailboat in the Puget Sound, and that love of adventure carries into my work. Whatever the project, I look for the real characters and genuine moments that make a story worth telling, because the best stories aren’t just crafted — they’re discovered.
